If I would not have been a software professional then I would have been a researcher. I always wanted to launch rockets and land robots at planets like Mars or at least perform research at Atlanta for identifying initial life forms or try to concieve a Time Machine or stretch the strings of the string theory. But here I am a Technical Architect designing solutions for CRM, RMS, POS, Web applications etc. Although I must admit receiving appreciations and awards in what I am doing but I will always wish to do what (I think) I was meant for. Nevertheless I will put up my entire study as a hypothesis in this small article about life, evolution and civilization. Summary: In a nutshell an element carbon with certain special characteristics landed on planet earth in the form of meteorite (stone) from some other planet (probably Mars). Next, in contact with water molecules there were mineral reactions that evolved into the first traces of organic life form eventually leading to become something similar to what we know as amoeba. Linking with other theories it all started to become the first small species similar to a fish or generally belonging to the reptile family. Improvising further, the life form deviated in multiple dimensions and one of them progressing towards homo-erectus that later turned to become modern humans. At this point I will also like to mention one of the assumptions about evolution of human that I do not believe in, it is the use of tools, the common belief that we started using tools first in Stone Age is incorrect. We actually started using sticks much before even when we were all monkeys. Yes, though weird it may sound the chimps use twigs to capture termite and ants (high in proteins) as food. Coming back to evolution of our greatest grandest fathers the homo-erectus somewhere around seven million years ago started their journey towards civilization by travelling different directions from Africa, expanding in Europe and Asia. Somewhere around half a million to one million years ago they travelled and had small settlements across Europe and Asia. And in the meantime they evolved from homo-erectus to homo-sapiens with brain structure and probably intelligence resembling exactly with modern human beings. As per the historians it was only five thousand years ago that the first traces of civilization right after stone age was found at Indus Valley (known as Indus Valley Civilization, 2600–1900 BCE). And then it was only two thousand years ago when we differentiated ourselves as Christians, Muslims, Hindu, etc. further into Catholics, Jews, Shia, Sunni, Buddhists, Sikhs and many more. In this twenty-first century with the best technology, the first thing we intend to do is defend ourselves and to defend ourselves from none other than the same species of homo-sapiens, becoming very rare class of living organism that kills the same kind (The Human). |
